This frame is entirely hand-carved with incredible details representing traditional Chinese scenes. Weeks of work were necessary to produce this frame which has a width of over 2 meters. The artwork inside is painted on rice paper by artist Bernard (张光武). We mounted it on an aluminum panel, then covered it with liquid gloss that we crafted into a very matte finish, resulting in a reflection free artwork.
